Cambio Review
A non-custodial swap service where you type the trade in plain language, with a stated 0.38% spread on most routes, no account, and a list of regions it cannot serve.
By Jonathan West · Updated November 2026
Cambio is a non-custodial swap service that turns a plain-language request such as “swap 200 USDT on Tron for BNB” into an exact quote for your amount, then settles the result to the wallet you name. Its own disclaimer rules out citizens, residents and entities of the United States, the European Union and the United Kingdom, among others. Below we cover how the quote is built, what it leaves out and how it sits against six other swap services. This review is built from Cambio’s published pages, not from swaps we ran ourselves.

How a Cambio Swap Works
You write the trade the way you would say it, on the site, in the Telegram bot or through the ChatGPT plugin, and Cambio parses the request and quotes the exact amount you will receive. Before it issues a deposit address it checks your payout address against the OFAC sanctions list and its own blocklist, and a match stops the swap. Your deposit has to confirm on its chain before the payout is sent, so timing depends on the network. Cambio gives no fixed time, but its FAQ says the quote shows a typical time where one is known.
Cambio says you can type any swap intent in plain language. Support cases get a case number and a tracked page. Cambio says a ticket opened during support hours, 06:00 to 14:00 GMT Monday to Friday, gets a reply the same day, and that its AI assistant answers outside those hours. Its pages state no maximum transaction size and give no minimum figure, so check the quote screen before you send.
Cambio states it cannot reverse an on-chain transaction. For a wrong network, its FAQ says recovery depends on the chain and tells you to contact support at once with the transaction ID. It also states that a small underpayment is completed for what actually arrived, at the live rate, and that a deposit below the minimum gets a top-up or a refund to the sender wallet, so send the amount you quoted.
What Cambio Costs
Cambio states a 0.38% spread on most routes, folded into the quoted rate rather than added after it. The network fee appears on its own line, and the About page says nothing is added after the quote and that there are no platform fees, gas markups, membership tiers or tokens. Monero swaps and some bitcoin payouts are priced by a second provider, also inside the quote.
| Cost | What Cambio states |
|---|---|
| Spread | 0.38% on most routes, inside the quote. |
| Network fee | Shown separately from the quote. On its comparison page Cambio gives example withdrawal fees of 0.15 USDT on Tron, 0.000008 BTC on Bitcoin and 2.00 DOGE on Dogecoin, with quotes dated to 31 October 2026. |
| Monero and some BTC payouts | Priced by a second provider, inside the quote. |
| Platform, membership, token | None, per the About page. |
Cambio also publishes a comparison page measuring itself against six other swap services. It says the figures come from hourly checks of each exchange’s website at about $200, $1,000 and $5,000 and from estimates marked “Est.”, and it reports, for example, that it gave more than ChangeNOW on 562 of 824 matched checks and more than SimpleSwap on 656 of 727. These are Cambio’s own numbers, from its own method, with its own stored quotes dated 12 September 2026. We have not reproduced them, so treat them as a claim to test with your own quote rather than as a ranking.
Where Cambio Fits Among Instant Swap Services
With 118 tokens, Cambio’s list is shorter than the services in our instant swap roundup, where ChangeNOW lists 1000+ assets, StealthEX 2000+ and SimpleSwap 2,800+. Cambio states one percentage on its About page, while ChangeNOW states no percentage and StealthEX does not publish an exact fee percentage. If your pair is on its list and you want a single stated spread, that makes the quote easy to check. If you need a long-tail token, start with a service that covers it.
The interface is the other difference. Cambio lets you type the trade in plain language instead of picking assets in a form. Its pages do not say this changes the cost or how the swap settles.
Who Cambio Is Not For
Start with eligibility. Cambio’s disclaimer says its services are strictly unavailable to citizens, residents and entities in the United States, the European Union and the United Kingdom, along with China, Belarus, Turkey, Panama, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Iran, North Korea and other OFAC-sanctioned jurisdictions. Readers in those places should pick another service from the roundup.
It is also the wrong tool if you want to buy crypto with a card or bank transfer, because Cambio lists no fiat on-ramp or off-ramp, or if you want to stake, lend or hold a balance, because it offers none of those and keeps no balances. If you want a stated transaction limit before you deal with a service, note that Cambio’s pages give none.
The Verdict
Cambio suits someone in an eligible country who swaps between mainstream coins and wants a single stated spread, no account, and a quote they can check before sending. Get a quote for your exact pair and amount, compare it with the same swap on one other service, and send a small test amount first, since on-chain transfers cannot be reversed. If you live in a region Cambio excludes, or need a coin outside its 118, skip it. Start at cambio.one.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Cambio?
Cambio is a non-custodial crypto swap service run by Cambio Technologies, S.A., a company registered in Panama. You describe a swap in plain language, on its website, in a Telegram bot or in a ChatGPT plugin, and it quotes the amount you will receive before you send anything.
How much does Cambio charge?
Cambio's About page states a 0.38% spread on most routes, already inside the quoted rate, with the network fee shown on its own line. It also states there are no platform fees, gas markups, membership tiers or tokens. Monero swaps and some bitcoin payouts are priced by a second provider, also inside the quote.
Does Cambio require KYC?
Cambio states that no account or sign-up is needed and that it asks for no identity documents. It checks your payout address against the OFAC sanctions list and its own blocklist before it issues a deposit address, and it notes that the exchange filling a swap may in rare cases ask for its own verification.
Is Cambio custodial?
No, by its own description. Cambio states that it does not store funds in deposits or balances, offers no wallet accounts, and settles each swap to the destination wallet you provide. It also states that it cannot reverse an on-chain transaction, so confirm the address and network before you send.
Can I use Cambio from the United States?
Cambio's own disclaimer says its services are strictly unavailable to citizens, residents and entities in the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom, China, Belarus, Turkey, Panama, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Iran, North Korea and any other OFAC-sanctioned jurisdiction. Check your eligibility on its site before relying on it.
Which coins does Cambio support?
Cambio's homepage lists 118 tokens across 25 networks, including BTC, ETH, SOL, BNB, USDT, USDC, TRX, XMR, LTC, XRP and DOGE. It does not list fiat on-ramps or off-ramps, so every swap is crypto to crypto.
How does Cambio compare with other instant swap services?
Our roundup of instant swap services lines up six other providers on fees, coin counts, KYC and custody. Cambio publishes a single stated percentage, which ChangeNOW and StealthEX do not, while the other services list far more coins. Read the full table before you choose.
